*What are your hours?
Generally we are open from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
*Do I need an appointment?
A call is helpful before stopping by. It is our desire to provide our clients with personal attention, therefore appointments are helpful to organize our time & space to that end.
*Is Repeat Performance open on Saturdays?
We are open on Saturdays by appointment for clients with open accounts.
*Which periods of clothing does Repeat Performance have in it’s collection?
There are wonderful, although limited, pieces from the mid to late 1800's. The collection largely represents the decades from 1900 through the 1960's.
*How do I open an account?
Production companies with a house account need only provide production & billing information and a Certificate of Insurance. For production companies that do not have a house account, a credit application is required. Call us for further information: 323-938-0609.
*What do Repeat Performance rentals cost?
Generally speaking, Repeat Performance rentals are competitively priced with other costume houses that provide quality period rentals. All of our rentals are priced individually, with a tag on each garment. The price is based on condition, size and desireability. No guessing...it’s all right up front.
*How long is a production rental?
12 Weeks...after 12 weeks each week is charged at a rate of 8% per week.
Prices and length of production are negotiable depending on the size of a rental selection.
*What is the condition of the Repeat Performance collection?
Repeat Performance is known for the quality of it’s collection and the exceptional condition in which it is maintained. All items in our stock are camera ready. Our pieces are often used on principals, often saving productions expensive made-to-order costs. Even our “character” garments are in fine wearable condition....although many have been distressed the old fashioned way, by the original wearer over the years.
*How is the Repeat Performance stock organized?
The entire men’s, women’s & children’s stock is well organized...mostly by period. The atmosphere is friendly, helpful, pleasant, and clean. Be our guest...call for an appointment to browse through and have a look for yourself.
*Where do we have Repeat Performance rentals dry cleaned?

*Does Repeat Performance sell vintage clothing?
Although pieces in the rental collection are not for sale, we maintain a limited stock of purchase items for your production. We are happy to discuss your production needs for any additional items that may need to be purchased.
*Does Repeat Performance rent character costumes?
Our rental collection consists exclusively of fine authentic period clothing and accessories....no character costumes in this collection. We do not rent to the public.
*What is the proximity of Repeat Performance
and other important costumer locales?
American Rag is 2 1/2 blocks south of Repeat Performance and Jet Rag is 6 blocks north. RP is within 2 miles of Palace Costume, Paramount, Bill Hargates and CBS. RP is within 3 miles of International Silks & Woolens.
*Got milk?
No, but we got Lattes...over 100 Starbucks stores within walking distance! (Actually, there is one...right across the street diagonally.) CaBrea, Susina, Campanille, LaBrea Bakery, and Lulu's are all in a 1 mile radius from Repeat Performance.
